While most experts agree that pregnancy may cause fatigue, most of the "experts" are MEN who have never been pregnant and wouldn't know a person who has just swallowed a basketball (or melon) from an expecting mother. *sigh* EXPERTS, HA!
Anyways, as you may be able to tell (from the past few times of my posts), MY baby is causing insomnia. I'm tired during the day and WIDE awake at night. I try doing stuff during the day, hoping it will make me sleepy later. No such luck. It just makes me even more tired for awhile, then - come 9:00 or 10:00, Captain Incubator is wide awake.
There's no rest for the wicked, I guess. Or the pregnant.
Plus, I've got the television on (watching America's Funniest Home Videos, of course!) and either the neighbors are making very TERRIBLE attempts at playing the violin, or there is an army of crickets outside bound and determined to make sure I know they're there!
I know, I know. Crazy crickets!

Oh, and as if this whole basketball swallowing trick isn't stressful enough, I found out I can't have MEXICAN, which is my TOTAL favorite and my numero uno craving! I've been waiting and waiting, and then I find out that mexican cheese is the kind of soft cheese pregnant woman aren't supposed to have and...well, the rest is history.
Oh and the other thing, why does it matter how old you are? You should be able to order off the kids menu, or they should provide a menu that's smaller servings...you pay the 3.99 (or whatever), get the kids food, and eat. You're not asking for extra food, just a child's size serving. Stupid "kids" menu.
Summary: Can't sleep, going to live in mexican restaraunts after giving birth and (my favorite), going to take my 4 month old baby to the restaraunt I ate at tonight (where the waitress so rudely informed me that the kids menu was for 12 and under) and order off the kids menu, 4 months qualifies as under 12, right? HA!
