So I worked last night for the first time since I found out about the baby. I was due to go back the night I had the spotting, and by the time I got there - I was a wreck and got sent home.
The next time was a scheduling problem and my shift got posted on accident, of course, I was not going to demand it back! Haha, gracious no!
But I went to work at 8pm last night, and normally around 5am, I'm getting tired. Well thanks to the little person I have growing inside me, by the time 2:30 am hit I was struggling to keep my eyes open.
Background - I'm not sure if any of you really know about my job. As you'll notice in my journal URL, my username is MissCOMommy. The miss and mommy are pretty obvious. The CO does not stand for Colorado. It stands for Corrections Officer. That's right, I'm 5'5" and I control both county prisoners and federal inmates.
I ain't skeered (the town I grew up in defines both the words REDNECK and HICK).
Anywho. I've been banned from inmate contact, just incase. So now I'm strictly dispatch. I tell the cops where to go!

But, I work 12 hour shifts on Saturday nights (8pm saturday to 8am sunday).
Boy was I miserable last night. It was nice to be back, nothing beats the excitement. The best thing? Since Danny switched to midnights, and he's a cop that I dispatch for, we both work overnight (he gets off at 7am) and come home and sleep. It's one more time we get to share the bed. It's nice.

Well, I've mumbled because I can't sleep. I'm done. Good night and God bless. Oh, hey - all you veteran mama's out there, I've been waking up with aches in my lower rib cage, and I'm only 12w4d...what do you think? A result of being pregnant, or a seperate medical issue?
